GRANDVIEW
Fantasy Series ALR Motorised Floor-Rising Screen / FE-T
A motorised ALR screen that rises from a low casing for ultra-short-throw viewing, then retracts to leave the wall clear.

GRANDVIEW Fantasy series / FE-T
A screen that rises into the room.
The Fantasy FE-T raises a grey ALR viewing surface from a low motorised casing. Place it on a suitable console or at floor level, with an ultra-short-throw projector in front. The screen retracts when viewing is finished, leaving the wall clear.

Designed exclusively for ultra-short-throw projectors. Confirm the projector’s placement, image height and clearances for the selected screen size before ordering.

Grey ALR fabric. A concealed lift.
The database specifies Black Grid DY3 fabric as standard, with DY5 as an option. Its directional surface works with a UST projector below the image; room lighting and projector placement still affect the result.

A low casing below the image
The motorised screen rises from its base rather than descending from a ceiling casing. Tabletop and floor-standing placement are listed; optional bracket arrangements need confirmation for the supplied model.
Black Grid ALR fabric
The standard fabric is listed at 0.5 gain and a 140° viewing angle. Its directional structure reflects UST projector light toward the audience while reducing the effect of light from above.
Internal tab tension
The internal tension system supports the raised viewing surface. Keep the lifting path clear and confirm the control kit; the catalog lists IR, RF, a 12 V trigger and RS485 control options.
Size, travel and projector placement.
Choose the model, allow for its full deployed height, then check the UST projector and control arrangement.

The database model dimensions match the older specification sheet. The newer flyer and family profile list different casing and deployed-height figures. This table uses the model records; confirm current-stock measurements before cabinet or recess work.
06 Motorised operation and controls
Raise for viewing
Keep the full lift path clear. Operate using the supplied controls and confirm the final travel setting.
Retract after use
Clear objects from the screen and casing before retraction. Follow the supplied operating manual.
IR / RF
The catalog lists infrared and radio-frequency control options. Confirm the supplied remote and receiver.
12 V trigger
A low-voltage signal can link screen operation to projector power. Confirm projector support and the required connection.
RS485
Listed for AV control integration. Confirm the supplied interface, protocol and installer requirements.
Operation drawings are illustrative. Control options are catalog-listed; confirm the actual kit, voltage, plug and integration accessories before connection.
08 Check the room
- Use an ultra-short-throw projector below the viewing area. Check its model-specific throw and image-height requirements.
- Assess lighting direction. ALR can reduce ambient-light influence, but does not remove every light source or guarantee contrast in every room.
- Choose a flat, level console or floor location able to support the model weight. Allow the full deployed height, screen travel and service access.
- Optional floating-bracket arrangements are catalog-listed. Confirm the supplied model, installation method and clearances with your installer.
09 Care and surface protection
Protect the ALR surface
- Clean the surface with a soft, dry cloth only, following the product records.
- Do not fold or crease the fabric. Keep hands, pens and sharp objects away from it.
- Avoid moisture and abrasive or chemical cleaners.
Use and maintenance
- Keep the lifting path clear and retract the screen after use to protect the surface.
- Contact Big Shine for operating, tensioning or maintenance questions; follow the supplied model manual.
- Both models carry a 36-month manufacturer warranty in the database.
- Sizes, gain, warranty and retail ex-GST prices follow the verified database snapshot. The technical table uses model-level database measurements.
- Room studies, material studies, operation and technical drawings are illustrative planning references. Confirm the current supplied model, fabric, kit and installation.
- See the original GRANDVIEW product page and manufacturer flyer. Cleaning guidance follows the database.
