Challenge

DB Schenker asked Big Shine Singapore to make a loading-bay walkway easier to see in a warehouse where forklifts, trolleys and pedestrians share the same floor. Painted lines and stick-on markings wear down fast under that kind of traffic, so the brief was for a floor marking that would stay sharp without repainting.

Site conditions

The installation sits at a loading-bay crossing point in the DB Schenker warehouse, an environment with bright ambient lighting, hard flooring and continuous forklift and trolley movement. The specific ambient-light readings, mounting height and floor-condition survey notes from this job have not been carried over into the current project record, so we are not quoting them here until they are retrieved and confirmed.

Big Shine solution

We installed a logo projector that casts a bright directional arrow onto the warehouse floor at the crossing point, giving staff and equipment a constant visual cue for the safe route through the intersection. Unlike paint or stickers, the projected arrow does not wear, peel or need repainting, and it can be repositioned if the traffic pattern changes.

System

The published photograph shows a single floor-projected arrow at the loading-bay intersection. Projector model, lens, wattage and mounting height for this installation have not been carried over into the current project record, and we treat that detail as unconfirmed until it is retrieved from the original job file.

Verified result

The photograph confirms a clear, sharp directional arrow projected onto the warehouse floor.
